Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival

If you will be adventuring through San Francisco in April and looking for a completely unique event then consider the Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival, and event that prides itself in bringing a bit of Japanese culture straight to the United States. The Cherry Blossom Festival is held in a five-acre Japan Center, and will feature enough entertainment, food, and more to satisfy any traveler’s needs.

It is tradition for the Cherry Blossom Festival to be full of music and food, so if you may be on the streets in the area and hear the loud pound of taiko drums or catch a hint of a delicious scent, then you are getting close. The event has a wide array of possibilities, catering to any traveler’s desires. Not only are there arts and crafts events ranging from demonstrations of flower arranging, painting, art, origami, and more, there will also be Japanese musical entertainment, and a grand parade at the Cherry Blossom Festival.

The Cherry Blossom Festival will be held as a two weekend festival, creating even more opportunities for any traveler to enjoy the event. The 45th presentation of this annual event will be held on April 14, 15, 21, and 22, 2012.
